Being lonely is something that, while not the best feeling, is one that we are all acquainted with. I would even go as far to say that it is a feeling that is necessary to experience at some point in our lives, and I think we all have. My own familiarity with loneliness has been a battle at times, an irritant at other times and quite discouraging in many instances. It can bleed us dry, but can also be a motivator to something better and hopefully healthier.
My Father makes my life an adventure at times, for lack of a better term. The adventure gives me a sense of excitement and anticipation. Many times the things that are unknown to me are not frightening because God is with me, and because I am sure He is there, I can take certain risks that can only grow my faith.
“If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast.” (Psalm 139:9-10)
