His care and love are all encompassing.
They miss no aspect of our need.
They know where we are weak and cover that weakness.
They shelter us against fear and bring us safely home.
We are not afraid because He has saved us and has adopted us as His own.
His love is our Salvation!

“My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”
Isaiah 32:18

Take some time to unwind, to be silent. Some time to reflect, and some time to pray.
Soon the calm will replace anxiety, clarity will replace confusion and exhaustion.
We all need to make the time for solitude, and make them a way of life.
Peace will become the marker for each day that God gives us and will be His blessing on us.

Sometimes the weight of what is going on seems entirely too heavy for me.
I also know that God promised not to give me more than I can handle.
Today He gives me strength to live. He helps me carry the unnecessary problems of tomorrow.
He shows me the light of His truth, and the promise of His awesomeness as I learn to trust in Him.

When I forgive, I open the door to reconciliation.
When I open that door, others may choose not to walk through it.
But aside from their decision, I myself remain free from the burden of hatred.

When change comes, I am not always ready to view it in a positive light, but I try not to dwell on my fear and the fear of things that could go wrong.
I ask God to show me the positive of what may result from this new adventure. As I focus on the good, He will turn my fears into faith. Faith that He is guiding me and teaching me to trust. Helping me to grow stronger and revealing to me a new part of His plan for my life.
I pray that He give me the courage to embrace the adventure, and trust that
He is leading me toward something wonderful!

When I say that ‘I am a Christian’, I am not shouting that ‘I am clean living.
I’m whispering ‘I was lost, but now I’m forgiven.’
When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that I stumble & need Christ to be my guide.
When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not trying to be strong.
I’m professing that I’m weak and need strength to carry on
When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not aiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.
When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches,
so I call upon His name.
When I say ‘I am a Christian’
I’m not holier than thou,
I’m just a simple sinner who received God’s good grace, somehow!
Today is Beautiful Christian Person’s Day
